The Australian Anglican synod has pretty much declared that the bible is a "living document" open for interpretationthe-pipeline.org/forget-the-bible-listen-to-the-ipcc/It has also declared that the IPCC provides the unquestionable will of god that the One True Faith of Carbon must not be doubted.

@Mutsu_a125 It is more or less a outdated version of shitlibery.Prior to WW2 shitlibs were mostly social gospel Christians who would justify everything with choice bible quotes or pseudo Christian statements. That changed when the Jews entered the ruling caste post WW2 and they would easily be destroyed in debates because anyone could look up and show the bible didn't say what they claimed.

@Aether @Nirty_Digger Wasn't there a split recently in the Anglican church and a number of congregations moved under the RCC as Anglican Rite or something? I've heard about it a bit recently but haven't looked too deeply into it.That and the Uniting Church as well had a split I think? Seems to be an awful lot of lampstand removal happening.

@Crux_Invictus @Aether @Nirty_Digger I was just coincidentally looking this stuff up earliertheres basically two major Anglican Communions now, the original which has the archbishop of canterbury in, which is the pro gay marriage ones, and the one that has a lot of the churches in the african regions and south of the US, which are anti-gay marriage theres technically a 3rd group who lean on the no side but just let their priests do whatever but theyre even smallerI cant remember the names of everything but that was the gist of what i saw
