       I bought two plants this weekend. The flowers are out of this world! I was told they both evolved to mimic carrion and attract flies. They don’t seem to smell for humans, so I just get to enjoy these magnificent flowers! #florespondence @plants

       @TheShellyTea @plants I hesitate to offer any advice as most of mine are surviving, and have been for a while, but don't grow or flower much so I don't think they are thriving.I will say, though, if you get your nose REALLY CLOSE and all up in their business, most do have a detectable and unpleasant scent - especially when freshly opened. Many are more of a rotten cheese smell to my nose than a rotten meat smell.

       @TheShellyTea @plants I honestly love fly pollinated plants. They tend to be wicked looking and I find the smells to be gross but charming. I grow several Amorphophallus and similar related Aroids, too.  And the Bulbophyllum genus of Orchids.
