       @zyntrax Yeah I remember this when it happened. At the start of lockdown people and the media were made aware of the massive digitisation project the TIA was involved with. Publishers claimed copyright. Even though the books could only be viewed for extremely limited amounts of time. And if the physical copy also wasn’t available to be loaned out. It was 1:1 if I remember correctly.

       @MisterMikeHunt @zyntrax The lawsuit was because the Internet Archive had tried to expand the program at the start of COVID. They wanted to lend the same copy of the book an unlimited amount of times, which is a rather straightforward copyright violation.blog.archive.org/2020/03/24/announcing-a-national-emergency-library-to-provide-digitized-books-to-students-and-the-public/
