FA Friends: When we were having dinner last night, our exchange student from Mexico, and my kids- the eldest is 12, asked us what happened on 9/11/01. My husband went over to the computer on the counter and brought up videos of the WTC being hit and collapsing...compilations of the events from many angles and with all the live commentary that went with it.—1/

History has proven over the centuries that the only way to keep jihadists in their box is to resist them with such violence that their intrinsic human desire to survive overwhelms their pumped up, murderous spiritualism. @cully45 @THEDodgerPrincess A few F-16s from Luke AFB flew over the city in the days after 9/11. This is unusual because they normally fly to the south and west after they take off. You almost never see F-16s over metro Phoenix. Was odd to hear them.

@cully45 @THEDodgerPrincess We see KC-135s all the time because the AZ National Guard flies them out of Sky Harbor. Luke AFB is in Glendale and on the periphery of town (west side). Therefore, unless you are out that way; you aren't likely to see or hear F-16s.
