@nachtrabe @hacknorris tbh, it feels like a complete self-contained language at this point. It would have been less complex to just give more complete/direct access to JS then continue to expand CSS.

@hazlin @hacknorris Not demanding a touring complete language just for layout is very reasonable thing imo.The problem with css is that it started by canonizing the status quo, including ad hoc solutions, and implementation artefacts in browsers way back when. ( not that they could do much else) It's probably impossible to build upon that foundation without creating a system that's much more complicated then it's domain demands. But the point of no return is long past.
