       I saw the Dune movie, not the old old one which sucked.I liked it, they really tried to show the various types of people and it was faithful enough to the book. The ending might annoy some but it made sense given the book.It's a bit tricky making a swords and spaceships book work, but I think they got it right.

       @solaslux They did that "shields stop fast things but not slow things" very well over all. I'm not sure if they actually explained it in the movie but it was another example of taking something from the book and showing it well.
