       I know it’s boring to post about #football ⚽️ on the #fediverse but here I am, bragging about how well my new game of #FootballManager is going. I’m managing #Stockport and just knocked Port Vale out of the #FACup and leap-frogged #Yeovil to be top of the league.

       @brian That might be FIFA Ultimate Team. Or maybe that’s the case in the newest Football Manager. You can buy little cheats in this game, like purchasing a “dodgy lasagne” for the opposing team to give one or two players food poisoning before the game. Or “dream signing” to ignore the fact the player wouldn’t usually sign for your club. Buying cheats costs real money.

       @brian But otherwise, getting a good team is about scouting the right players. I’m doing okay right now and picked most players up for free and spent no fictional in game money, or real money. 🤷
