@joel I used my Nokia 6.1 from early 2019 until last month. I only switched to this Nokia G20 for better battery life. I hate that most phones don't make it easy for you to replace the battery yourself! Give me an Android phone like my Steam Deck; I can open it up and replace what I need as needed.

@joel Just a little over 2 years. I'm hoping to keep it for a while longer, but it'll lose software support sometime next year.

@joel I think mine is 4, might be 5 years old. But my car is 17 and my t-shirts are 30+, so apparently I don't upgrade often. (computers, now, we get new ones if those every 2 to 3 years.) 😁

@joel Just got a phone for less than a year now. Though I never get past 2 years out of my previous 2 phones.A swollen battery(Redmi note 4(?)) and inexplicably short battery life and heating(Samsung note 4) were the cause.

@joelI had mine previous phones 4,5 and 3,5 years respectively, until they died. I plan to keep my current one as long as I could. I don't want to contribute to more devices produced, more resources used and more electronic waste.

@joel Mine is two years old. (Redmi Note 9 Pro Max)I am kinda lucky with what I got. It also has got linux support via halium 10 which is super awesome and ubuntu touch on paper supports everything that ubuntu touch for "Android Smartphone" can.Droidian is also in development.I am planning to try ubuntu this holidays. Currently running 'ricedroid' which is a fantastic ROM.Soo yeahh! I am not gonna change my phone anytime soon.
