Maybe it's my NXR/monarchist priors but I can't help but just feel sad about the Queen's passing.Obviously she had no real power to do much and nothing will change with her death, but it's another signpost for us showing how far we've fallen as a civilization, even in just the last 60 years.Hate her all you like but she's not really responsible for much wrong with Britain or the west today.

Yeah, her sons are scum. I don’t really have a poor opinion of her personally, she may not have been a fan of Diana but even less so of Camilla and her reaction at that time seemed slightly overblown by the grief of the nation. Diana was divorced from their family. A state funeral was not required really and that somehow got blown out of proportion by tabloids. Otherwise I never saw her really cause a stir or anything. @parker @CaoCao sad but true.Charles has used his influence and money to support cool ecological things unrelated to climate change and also set up a model village designed to be more walkable/car free.That's all he can really do though. Signal and philanthropize on pet issues.
