Doing business becomes impossible very quickly.The assumption that they are appealing to "basic decency" flies out the window when you realize that these protections only go one way. Christians have long complained about being marginalized and attacked on the internet and made to feel uncomfortable and unwanted in the workplace, yet I don't see any businesses trying to make things more welcoming for them or punishing back against anti-Christian rhetoric. Same goes for many other groups. I mean, lets be honest, things like the MRA's and Alt-Right formed as a reaction to this fact.And that's nothing to say about their own bias. After the Waukesha parade attack, for example, the ADL was silent on the matter. Instead it was "very concerned" with an incident where a White man shoved passed an Asian woman while walking in NYC. Obviously they were capitalizing on the "anti-Asian hate crime" panic, though they don't seem to care about the slew of actual homicidal acts carried out against us by nonwhites. Same when 60+ churches were burned in Canada, after misleading news reports of genocide tied to a religious school came out.
