If this goes the way it usually does with modern left organizing, the ones with vested financial interest will use the callout to break with anyone who isn't "ideologically pure" and take the opportunity to smear the key players of the callout with anything they can find, including lies. That will energize a new oppositional force of "victims" of the grift, who have no financial stake but gain social capital from pretending to be wounded and better-than. New opposition then hinders the "campaign", which will infuriate the puppetmaster/s, who will start to turn on the "face" of the movement. This will coincide with media that begins to both-sides the original story, using the voices of the new victims as justification. That will reach a tipping point where the puppet is thrown under the bus, their followers dismissed as retarded or zealots, and at that point the masterminds move on. No one gains but the original power behind it. The way you expedite this is getting out of the way and letting it play out. Josh is right about starving the attention.
