This is really dumb. Let me just get the pedantic bit out of the way first. Third world just meant unaligned. NATO sphere was first world, Soviet sphere was second world, everyone else was third world. It just so happens most third world countries were African so of course the connotation became “shit-hole”And no, you do not need famine-level conditions to be considered colloquially third world. It merely needs to be a non-functional, corrupt society constantly on the brink of open internal strife or collapse, if not already there. I think this total lack of optimism ("my life is ruined because of niggers!!!") is just self-destructive to no purpose. It's no surprise the most blackpilled people are also unfulfilled personally.On the pedantry: it's hard to say that "Soviet-aligned" is still useful, which probably is why the second world is colloquially deprecated. BRICS+ OTOH has clear relevance - it's significance as a bloc contra US/NATO* has been bundantly clear in the last 6mo (China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Turkey*, Iran...).

@gigachad @borzoi @DaveHolland Low level corruption isn't really a issue in the first place.You can work around that, it will just cost you a little bit of money.Pure, High level corruption is the issue because it changes infrastructure in a way you, as a normal person, cant work around.That's whats currently making the US so shit.Smaller organization's aren't just not allowed to play at the same table as bigger corporations, they're not allowed to play the same game.Banks are a very good example of that.The government bails them out when they fuck up, gives them any benefit they could ever desire, in exchange for that all of them get together and gate-keep the industry from newcomers that don't play by the feds rules, force other corporations to bend their knee to them, get them every bit of information they could ever want and make business impossible for undesirables that step out of line too far.
