The UK version of Kitchen Nightmares is a lot better than the US version. They're older and they were focused on the idea of actually making failing restaurants work. A lot more interesting from a food business standpoint. That being said, the US version focuses entirely on finding the best retards possible. I can't in good conscious fault them for doing that and there are some legendary gems. It has it's own charm.
