I see a lot of trooned out kids to gen x or boomer parents who don't understand online culture but a lot of younger more tech savvy parents understand the conditioning that takes place online and can take steps to mitigate it. Nice whitepill here but it illustrates the lengths you have to go to to keep your kids out of groomers clutches.

@johnbudd1350 I have no idea, custody is always messy because the courts shit all over men. My only advice is take every moment you get with your kids to try and deprogram them or give them tools to avoid being targeted online. And good luck

@PraxisOfEvil In our fam, it’s spineless husbands giving way to harpy wives who fear their children falling out with “friends”. “no, he needs discord!!! That’s what he uses for school!!!” Last time I fixed their laptop I found 2 separate people asking the 9 year old for dick picks. One of the pre-teen girls told me her friends were selling “selfies” on twitter the year before that. They were holding out and getting buyers to exchange risque (unknown what level of nudity) “custom” pics in exchange for gift card codes. I keep it a secret for the kids, but I tell the parents that these things NEED to be addressed, and they just say “oh come on….that doesn’t happen”. Then when they see it happen, the women write it off while the guys freak out and begin thinking they’ve got this one in a million encounter with a pedo and they want the sheriff to take it super CSI serious to find the guy. Neither side seems to understand the real solution of teaching your kids and maintaining oversight.

@PraxisOfEvil This is what we have always done. We also talk about the disgusting shit those people do to kids (in age-appropriate terms) so that there is no mistaking the intent of the groomers. We let the kids come to their own conclusions based upon their observations from day one and talked through them. You can't go into hellworld pretending it's sunshine and lollipops. Shelter your kids from filth? Yes, AND expose them to it in a safe, controlled fashion, such as driving through areas with homeless encampments and ghettos and faggot districts so that they don't have any delusionsA kid sheltered from things and then told they're bad w/o context is very different from a kid who decides the same thing on their own

@PraxisOfEvil The people that think locking your kid down is extreme... need to understand where their child will be or what happens to them if they don't take steps that stop troonery or groomjng in general. What would you be able to do IF they got hooked into the medical clutches of these state sponsored mutilation mills? Fuck all without serious problems. Easier to cut them off from the feed and show them the end product first hand.

@TinyHouse4Life @PraxisOfEvil They sell ad-blocking hardware which is just a raspberry pi that controls DNS access via a blacklist. That's an all or nothing way to do it. At the very least you can track what sites they visit via DNS pretty easy.

@PraxisOfEvil @johnbudd1350 Depends a lot on age. For young kids: Buy that Matt Walsh picture book and explain that trans people are confused about reality. Show them furries and explain that they're also confused people who think they're animals. Explain that it's very sad that society is like this but the crazy people will also want you to join them, so it's important to know who you are and not get confused. Girls can like trucks and boys can like pink, but surgery won't make you feel better about who you are. For kids who are more independent: Old school reading material which reinforces gender stereotypes is also helpful, i.e. Tolkien, CS Lewis, Robert Louis Stevenson, etc. Anything written before 1980 is a great idea. You can talk directly about this stuff with older kids (10+). "Your mum and stepdad have the wrong idea about love. They think love means encouraging people even if they hurt themselves. When somebody wants to take bad drugs like heroin because that's who they are, we know that's bad and we try to stop them. When somebody wants to cut up their own body and be on harmful medications forever, I know that's bad and I wish I could stop them, but a lot of people today are confused and think they're helping. There are many people who have really seriously hurt themselves by trying to become something they can't, and there are many people who have shared their stories of transitioning when it was the wrong thing. They thought it was the right thing at the time but actually they were in a difficult time of their lives and wanted to run away from themselves, so they ran to a different gender because people online told them it was a solution to all their problems. After a couple of years they realised it didn't solve any problems and now they have permanent medical issues which just make them even more unhappy. If you ever feel like you're trapped in your life and want to become a different person, don't let yourself be tricked by these people. Come talk to me because I love you and want to help you, and I care about your future as well as your present." You can't insulate kids from the reality, you need to equip them to deal with it. Talk openly with them about strategies for being kind to trannies at school because "they must be going through a lot". Tell them that trannies have 100% always got other stuff going on mentally, and they'll discover that you're correct and always have anxiety, OCD, depression, family issues, etc. Show them that your view of the world is correct and they will likely align with it and use it because it's more useful than your ex's half baked propaganda. Older teens I'd buy a copy of "irreversible damage" by Abigail Shrier for girls and read it together, doing chapters like a book club and discussing them every week or whatever, and for boys you probably need a collection of essays on how porn makes boys brain damaged and vulnerable to troons. The transgender industrial complex is a big read but @Christ_is_Lord did a thread summary which is worth a read, he might make a precis if you ask him nicely. Talk openly about how sick people want to damage kids and get off on it. You want them to start Noticing patterns which they can't unsee and which makes sure they can't be naively manipulated.
