       @gat have you checked out versacarry yet? I can vouch for the quality of their leather. And they are US-based. I own four of their holsters.

       @gat nonspecific meaning not for a specific model gun? I find the Versacarry shape themselves quite well. The same IWB model holster I use for my Kimber Micro 9 also fits my full-frame 1911. I also have a different style holster (OWB) for my full-size 1911. This IWB one paired with my Micro 9 was my EDC for a couple years. Now I am using that same holster for my RIA double-stack compact 1911.That same holster I have my Full-size 1911 is the one my wife uses for her Springfield XDS.

       @Evirus Thanks for the info. I kinda had my doubts, because of Craft's suspiciously high placement in search engine results. Often the people who spend effort on SEO have no energy left for the product, or not even the intent.
