@GenoAtma That scene is pretty Kino, Zero in general was really good. I think that was my hop on point but I wasn't too invested in Nasuverse until melty blood.

@GenoAtma Quick review>Studio Deen adaptation: Fate Stay/Night (Saber route)Pretty bad, the animation is not good lol. Trying to get as close as possible to the VN's artstyle didn't do it as many favors as you'd think. There is also a CGI virginity dragon. I will say though that out of the 3 adaptations this one got the closest to matching the mystical atmosphere of the source material in both aesthetic and OST. It also has the best OP of the 3 adaptations.>Ufotable adaptation: UBW (Rin's route)Honestly pretty decent! Gorgeous, called Unlimited Budget Works for a reason. A good few liberties were taken with cutting out content but that can be expected trying to adapt a fucking visual novel. A bit more "Battle Shonen" than it is anything else for better or worse. Unfortunately though not a single one of these 3 have managed to adapt Shirou as a character properly to film, he just looks like a fuckin retard (he kind of is but I mean in a bad way instead of as a character trait). This is a problem in general with adapting a visual novel MC since 90% of their development happens in their head. Ryougi didnt have this issue in KnK because that was a third person narrative. >Ufotable: Heaven's FeelIts pretty. Thats about all I can give it. Its kind of a let down that they took the most dense route of the VN and gave it a movie trilogy instead of an actual anime series like they did for UBW. Worth watching if you already read the Heaven's Feel route in the visual novel, but not worth watching on its own due to just how much content is cut. Overall UBW is the best anime adaptation IMO, but the VN is just better lmao.

@deVoid Yea I plan on just reading the VN at some point. The problem is just getting the time to go through it. The last VN i read was some of the Taimanin ones. I was surprised when I started that series but for something that I thought was just a eroge when I was younger, it has a interesting world.
