@Riamu That 150billion stimulus at the END OF SUMMER is gonna fuck things up real bad end of fall and winter when they need oil and nat gas to stay alive, assuming the sanctions stay in place.To give you an idea how bad it is... 20billion is the estimated cost of gas from Russia if all things were normal, so they're paying a 130billion premium to keep 1.5trillion industry from DYING. And a good portion of this gas is being purchased from countries that are purchasing from Russia anyway and just re-selling to the EU and US at a premium

@NitroDubs @Riamu EU wanted a quick and fast war, but they forgot Obama sanctioned RU in 2014 and Putin saw the weakness of his country and nearly sacrificed it to cut dependence on international trade. They destroyed the rupel by 75% and had people die of starvation.... but since then they've recovered and because of lessons learned and the self-dependence they gained- they learned how to fight battles of attrition. @Marshall1Banana @Riamu Of course none of this would have happened if NATO disbanded in the early 90's, like it should have, or if they merely didn't expand beyond Germany, which they promised Gorbachev. Russia, frankly, played the political angles of this far better than mainstream politicians expected.
