@DionysusTauros there are others like bitmitigate but poast's traffic when we were like 1/5th the size we are now crippled the service and even took their control panel site offline regularly, every 10-15 minutes. there's a major market for this service but the problem we face is decentralizing it in a way that people threatening to stop peering with us (if we operate under our own AS) or people threatening to can us because we support something. this kind of pressure is going to keep happening and i dont know in my experience a way to handle this yet. decentralization is the way but it needs to be so decentralized that the effort is more futile than what the results would be worth
