Of course mastodon degraded the video quality, the original is better but you can see that the system is fluid and usable, and the cpu temp is set to go no higher that 65C plugged in and 60C on battery.

Been running Ubuntu with AwesomeWM as my daily driver on an X230 for several years, no obvious hangups if I don't get reckless with browser tabs

@nerdtronics but I was told that the meltdown CPU patches slowed them down and not windows 10/11 using antimalware service executable to eat resources.

@PhenomX6 I have no idea what this has to do with my original post but this system is using all the default OpenBSD security engineering including spectre/meltdown mitigation.

@dj @xue One - That background image is a tasteful X-files cosplay ffsTwo - I'm a bachelor, have been for 2 years now, but even I was married or dating, I would not put up with a woman being petty or insecure about having a pretty girl wallpaper on my computer. I know from experience, that toxic jealous behavior is bs, my ex was that way and she turned out to be the liar and the cheater all along. It's all projection. Side story about my wallpaper choices -Some guy at my church tried to get me kicked out because on one in my OpenBSD videos, the background image for my music player was digital artwork of a girl in a sundress. He texted my pastor in the middle of the night saying I am a degenerate because "her skirt was above the knees".. smdh. Guy ended getting kicked out of church for starting too much drama and being disrespectful to my Pastor.tl:dr people are weird and the holier than thou types end up being the worst type of person.
