@Nirty_Digger This is the beginning of the end if things go the way I fear. I don’t want poast getting high-profile, it’s why the farms died. We’ve pulled a lot of friends out of retirement but I honestly don’t know if they’d come back if it were to get the full regime execution….and I wouldn’t rule it out. You can see how hamfisted they are, every month that goes by they take dumber action to maintain a monopoly on info….and they can make it awfully expensive to run a server. We probably have 2+ years though, if I were the drone tasked with ridding it I’d let it ripen a lot more first. You want the site to attain critical mass before sinking it, it’s a cycle they’ve figured out.

@Xenophon @Nirty_Digger To this day I still didn’t get that whole thing but I wasn’t very tapped in to the drama. My fear is that the site becomes too big, too quickly. This is part of the playbook at “fighting hate online”, you let a community/site attain a certain level of notoriety, then you sink it. Like a battleship going down, they launch the lifeboats for the nearest hospitable ship and start to board. This is a gravy phase for them, because it lets them begin mapping out the network from scratch. Who’s a principle node, who’s a mover & shaker, who’s popular, how they all embed themselves and start rebuilding, etc. Additionally, they can infiltrate easier because everyone is starting from zero. So you have old negresses and human resource drones imitating their idea of a racist white teen mixed in with lefty faggots trying to start shit all mixed in together. If they’re lucky they can get a big enough audience in this phase, which is a real handy tool because a following lets them tell their bosses about how much sway they have. These kind of accounts were the ones really shouting down anyone who said 1/6 was a trap in the boomersphere. not big enough that everyone knows them, but with enough of a following that the things they say can have an effect on the greater consensus. Then they wait, probably until we get to the point that normies find us. Kiwi’s time has come because even my parents visited to see the horror shows. They can’t allow anyone to just type in a tranny’s name and see a 17 page document illustrating every one of their crimes. It’s untenable. If we get to that point, they’ll sink this too. They like waiting though, because having us quarantined outside of normie sites leaves them alone and keeps the autists bottled up and out of their hair. Good and bad for them. Anyways….I know there should be a few leaked presentations on it, papers written on the phenom. The way it was initially explained to me was “the lifeboat system” but IDK if that’s a common name BTS

@Nirty_Digger Well if you join my industry you could move around a bit and find a community. I’ve thought about how we could recruit some of our own and kinda have a jobs network on the side. Seems like everyone I talk to lately is asking for cool guys to hire outside the public-facing shit. The only reason they can’t though is the min. legal requirements. There’s something to be said for a line of work that lets you just up and leave for a new place in no time at all.

@Xenophon @Nirty_Digger That’s been weird because I thought the disagreement was that we had too many tiddypoasters to be an appropriate venue for dissidents. In the end I guess it’s good though, led to more diversity. If I get the money I’d like to make one sometime to see if I can get IRL work friends on there as a kind of internet boys’ club. I hear lots of complaints about having public-facing stuff these days. THey’re getting tired of having the school marms watching over the shoulder everywhere they go.

@Nirty_Digger Maybe airlines. Guys forget there’s a pretty good number of jobs that have nothing to do with mainline airports. You could literally pick up the phone right now, and if you have the right amount of experience and I tell a buddy you’re a cool guy, you could have a job waiting for you in anchorage. Hell, I had a friend complaining about not finding a job when we were in Texas, and this old guy came over and asked if he wanted to fly in Alaska. He said yes, and within an hour he had signed a contract to go up and fly Beech 1900s. Haven’t checked in a while but he loved it last time I heard from him. I just wanna walk out onto the tarmac and see a poast sticker on my copilot’s bag. Would make work a LOT more fun having more friends. It’s still overall okay, but we’re getting a lot of freaks lately and I wanna counterbalance it because it’s a great job and for freakin’ once there’s an honest to goodness shortage so you can advance quicklyJust imagine, this could be you in 4 years, turning on the autopilot to make watamelon memes while I sleep in the next seat

@Nirty_Digger Watch some youtuber pilots, I think Stev0 is a pretty good example of the lifestyle of a small time turboprop corporate guy. Pretty accessible in the grand scheme of things. If you go to something like United’s gay little diversity program they might even pay for all your certs, they’re desperate to push the white male ratio down so I’d apply and weave a solid sob story about your race and how you wanna show other kids like you that “the sky’s the limit”. It really is that easy sometimes. At least right now, barring tremendous economic shakeups, you’d be getting in at a great time. 9/11 dissuaded gen x and old mills from getting in, and the boomers are forced to retire at 65 so they’re hemorrhaging experienced, qualified guys every year (not to mention all those early retirements they forced during lockdown. Had to save money….only to regret it 1 year later). Everyone keeps saying that there’s just no one to hire, I’m hearing about people who never passed a single checkride in less than 3 attempts each flying for the majors…..10 years ago? 3 retakes throughout your entire career would have them pass you up. They simply can’t do that any more, they’re hiring any warm body with enough time in their logbook to meet legal minimums and hoping the captain can fly well enough that they’re like a helper monkey. But yeah, at the very least these people would help you open up a loan, not a super common thing unless your certs are attached to a worthless 4 year in some gay aviation thing. Plus they’ll do scholarships, etc. I wouldn’t work for them, I’d just train with them, then say you can’t afford to work at the diversity school and go somewhere for cool people
