       I have fond memories of computer manuals of the 1980s, so I got a book on how to write computer manuals in that style.I bought a cheap copy of "How to Write a Computer Manual: A Handbook of Software Documentation" by Jonathan Price, 1985. The book started as a learning resource for Apple's user education team, where Price worked on the Apple ][.#retrocomputing #books

       @amoroso I've been reading early BASIC books, including the kind with cartoon illustrations. They assume you know nothing and are meticulous in their explanations. It was such a different time.
