@Okymir The source refers to Jewish population in Germany. The holocaust 6 million figure refers to total Jewish casualties. Much of the killing took place in Poland and other nations with victims being deported back to Germany by rail or gunned down in their villages by Einsatzgruppen.

@Okymir You have to remember that by 1943, Germany occupied almost all of continental Eurpe from the Pyrenees to the Caucas, not just Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Also, a large majority of Jews in the USSR lived in the west, and under Operation Barbarossa, the Germans began immediately moving the Russian Jews to camps in the west. This was when the Nazis were deciding on the "Final Solution"

@Okymir It is not 'near impossible' for a 20th century military force to locate and kill civilians en masse. Finding and killing civilians is not a challenge for most armies of the modern age. Most are simply not disgraceful enough to dedicate themselves to that end. All this nonsense about 'running out of ammunition' is baseless speculation and arguments from incredulity with no sources. The source that you cited indicates more than enough people in Europe to support the casualty figures.

In 100 days more than 500,000 people were murdered.It is incredible just what humanity can accomplish when it decides to hate itself that much, and if you think a fascist state dedicated to hating Jews as much as Nazi Germany did couldn't figure out how to improve the process you are trying to fool yourself.

@Okymir You have to remember that the Germans saw Jews as a race, not just the ethnicity and the religion. If you had a jewish mom or dad only, even if you were baptized/converted they would count you as a jew.Of course, this doesn't account for everything but it's a point people forget and given how people fly off the hook at any questioning of the Holocaust most people never learn that little fact. Which is hilarious cause it means Holocaust Denial laws and taboos is helping the denial.
