       @jsmith If all lawful acts are instituted and upheld by the civil authority or a constituted government, and the government is not put in place through means of usurpation, insurrection is treasonous and unpatriotic.Being patriotic, in essence, is to uphold and follow the rule of law that your country was founded on, as long as the oath of your country’s laws have not been broken.

       @jsmith Yes - it is a Patriot’s duty to hold corrupt officials accountable. What I meant was it’s not Patriotic to support an insurrection, unless your government is, or becomes corrupt. So yes. If the circumstance is right, you can be a Patriotic insurrectionist, but the term insurrectionist takes on a totally different meaning. I wouldn’t call it an insurrection at that point.

       @SecondSeed wellz the word has been misused since at least Jan 6th, but I agree. Revolution is probably a more accurate term.
