logseq seems really nice but the allure of org-roam is hard to resist. i'm trying out emacs on termux to see how well that works

@wizard I keep trying this every few years because the Org ecosystem is *that* good but failing because Emacs is (to me) that painful. On mobile at least I don't get RSI but it's never stuck for me.

@structuregeek i got really into emacs a few years back and wrote like a 1000 line config file, but scrapped it since i decided it was kinda a waste of timei'm trying out doom emacs rn, my friend gave me a rave review that it would fix or lessen all of the pain points i had with it

@wizard The one pitfall to sane keybinds is Emacs is they tend to conflict with Org keybinds and I've never managed to learn and customize both simultaneously.

@structuregeek doom emacs helps a ton with that by providing preconfigured sane defaults. not too sure about how it is if you want to change anything though and i've only got experience with the vim keybindings

doom emacs seems to run great on termux actually. considering i'm only really planning on ever using termux for emacs itself, i added emacs to my .bash_profile so it autostarts every time i open the app
