       [ja] 日本語には小籠包は標準語の“シャオロンバォー”じゃなく、上海語と近い“ショーロンポー”と読みますね。あるアニメから聞いた。[zh] 日语里#小笼包 一词原来确实是接近上海话发音的啊，看动漫涨姿势了。[en] The word "Shanghainese steamed bun," while pronounced (and written) in English as "Xiaolongbao" in Standard Mandarin, is apparently pronounced as "shoronpo" in #Japanese, which is similar to #Shanghainese Wuu (something like "xiolonbo"). Guess I learned that from a certain #anime.#shanghai

       @austin Don't know if we can say that Shanghainese steamed bun is pronounced/written as Xiaolongbao or vice versa.It's another name for the same thing. Not the name in another #language. The translation would be Little Dragon Bun. So we can say that, in English, Xiao Long Bao is Little Dragon Bun, but it's listed in American menus as Shanghainese Steamed Bun. 😁I'm getting hungry now...

       @evelyn I just took the title from Wikipedia... Also the "long" is 笼 (basket/cage, here being used for steaming) not 龙 (dragon).
