No matter what I try so far, netlify strips the #mastodon "validation" link from quotation marks. Not sure why this is. Link should be: `<a rel="me" href="https: //mastodon.technology/@jtr"></a>` after Netlify: `<a rel=me href=https: //mastodon.technology/@jtr></a>`why is that?#netlify #hugo #html #gitlab

@jtr there are some optimization options that probably are enabled by defaultNetlify can minify css, change images for cdn'd versions and other things. I don't remember where the option is in the settings

@joel @jtr It's under "Build & Deploy" -> "Asset optimization".My guess is, that the "Pretty URLs" setting causes this, for whatever reason.

@hbenjamin @joel I found it, but it's marked as "Disable asset optimization" . I see pretty URLs only as an option after I turn this on. I'm looking for other things that might do that?

@jtr I mean, if you want to disable it, don't you have to turn that on?
