@cultured_grugUkraine isn't Russia any more than USA is part of the Commonwealth. Countries split from the USSR because being part of the USSR sucked shit.I don't know if outsiders should be pouring money to assist Ukraine but it is every country or even region of a country's right to fight for independence and either win or deal with the consequences of failing.

@sheetposter Russia was literally born in Ukraine, Henry Kissinger said so himself and said it was wrong to war against Russia over the space. Plus Russia considered it the birthplace of Russia, so in a way it's like as if Russia stationed bases all around Massachusetts and took over Boston and said tough luck US they want to be separate from you now. Sure Soviets sucked but nothing really special about banker oligarchs whoring out Ukraine either.

@cultured_grug I'm not saying Ukraine is in a better position or worse for not being Russia but right now they are two different countries who gives a fuck what was the origin, if Russia wants to call any parts of Ukraine Russia it needs to take it by force or make a deal that the current sitting power in Ukraine finds acceptable.Any historic details are worthless arguments m as long as Ukraine is under a different administration.

@sheetposter I see not respecting it's historical foundation as essential an act of war against Russia and thus capable of providing the pretext for nuclear exchange. They have already said out loud the same, it's just that nobody in the west is listening and those that think they are bluffing are just trying to cash in on the boondoggle of fraud in the funding of the "defense of the independent nation of Ukraine". I wouldn't really be surprised to find Russia invading Germany in return.

@sheetposter you're missing the point it never left Russia 100%, it's just that we basically created that division in the world as a cold war tactic, we created and fostered an ethnic pride and so forth and a division that really only came into existence because of our insistence, the people that voted felt the election was stolen, they voted to leave Ukraine as well, none of this was respected and in fact it was violated all of which Kissinger addressed as well in his comments.

@useless_idiot the point is now what i made is that Kissinger is a Russian propagandist, ok, i've seen it all, this is not worth talking about, i see nothing referring to his various points made at CFR meetings, just media talking points being thrown around, there is clearly a division and it has been fostered by American politicians looking for graft and looking to distract it's masses with something to focus on other than it's own stolen 2020 election process, by focusing on a foreign nation.

@useless_idiot To clarify my point not exactly, he states the regions that voted out Odessa and other regions that Russia has taken should be conceded and the war brought to an end by doing so by simply creating a treaty rather than dragging it out and further into a longer conflict it should be concluded and ended now. That was his opinion of course, doesn't mean he's right, but i tend to see it as saving lives of Ukrainians more than Russians by doing so and therefore the best outcome for them
