@Gina I voted for two. As much as I hate to say it those gaming chairs have been much more comfortable for 8 hours of work sitting down. I am a heavy person though so my experience with mesh has been poor.

@Gina Jokes aside, would trying those chairs in person somewhere be an option? For everything I am about to buy and my body should feel comfortable with, I am trying hard to experience the thing before buying somehow. Especially when the costs are non-trivial. This includes e.g. shoes and pants, but also computer peripherals or e.g. a chair.

@Gina Mesh chairs are unbeatable in hot weather. Mesh chairs with a towel or thin blanket over them are nice when it's cold.

@Gina Not sure what your budget is, but if you're going to be working from home, considering you'll be sat on it most days, it might be worth spending a little more. If you look for office clearance furniture, you can usually get a bargain. I bought a Herman miller aeron (fancy ~€1800 ergonomic chair) for about €600 a few years ago. I can dig up the store (in Amsterdam) if you want.

@Gina Ik heb op dit moment een Rohde & Grahl Xenium van het werk en die voldoet me prima. Niet goedkoop maar je kan maar 1x je rug verkloten. Voor 8+ uur per dag is het super ergonomisch en heb 0,0 last van rugklachten.

@Gina I voted #1 just because the arm and neck rests are adjustable, the second one's arm rests would be wrestling the table every time I tried to pull myself closer.But I don't recommend buying a chair without trying it out.

@GinaI got new chair recently too, I also had ektra screws, but i think thoes where spare incase you lost or broke one. Quite an upgrade going from a 40$ ikea chair that was litterly falling apart.New one defently not en ergonomic chair, but suprsingly comfirble. And i got it in pink so I am happy
