       Just my 2 cents on the @PINE64 situation before I go back to vacationing:IMHO PINE64 has a Community Management resource problem that they need to address by adding people. With the plethora of products they make by now, Linux and non-Linux powered, one Community Manager is no longer enough and can only lead to burn out (management person) and frustration (community).

       @linmob @PINE64 Not everything mentioned by @martijnbraam in his blog post can be traced back to lack of resources for community management / engaging with the community.

       @dwagenk @PINE64 @martijnbraam I am not saying that this will magically solve everything; but it's advice based on my own experience when I was more involved with PINE64 and it's actionable. Also, there clearly have been communication issues, e.g. around tow-boot and the PBP and those typically appear (assuming all sides are willing to communicate) due to a lack of focus (e.g. because "it's just too much").

       @linmob @PINE64 @martijnbraam thanks for clarifying. I agree, that it would be a huge step in the right direction, but no magic sword to solve all issues.

       @dwagenk @PINE64 @martijnbraam Also, I don't believe that it is likely that PINE64 is going to drop Manjaro, and I highly doubt that Manjaro is all of a sudden going to be a better steward of the wishes and wants of the wider community. (This is based on what I make of background info way back when I was a host of PineTalk and on Manjaros non-reaction to dont-ship.it.
