I heard a few people say "some guy I know got groomed on the fedi you know this right". But even worse; a friend I used to talk to straight up said something memorable about his former friend.So long story short the chat (circa 2018 or so) was talking about cringe online. And one of them was asking if Mastodon was a good lolcow breeding ground. This user who was my friend straight up went all out on it and talked about how Mastodon metaphorically killed his friend by trooning him out, that it wasn't even funny, and that if you used Mastodon around this time you would gain a visceral hatred of the word "Estrogen". Said person on the other hand was shitting on this friend and said he was a "transphobe" and was for a while a fedi instance owner.These are the people who were everywhere on Mastodon and why I stayed away from it. Now look at the fedi, and the people this crowd hated are now the most active.

It's why the CEM3394 emulation in MAME was comically bad, even though an arcade board did use it. It was so bad that videos of the machines that used it sounded nothing like MAME for years, and then some dev fixed it.

So they wind up with giant studios full of dead weight, diversity hires, old talent leaving, and a studio that shits on the fans. Case in point, 343i. "We need to hire people who don't give a shit to add new viewpoint to this" is a very HR goblin take on things that leads to well, Halo 4.

The size mechanic changing how you play looks legitimately well done and interesting, and the game's artwork looks pleasant. The game is clearly a passion project, it's just that throughout the entire game's development you know the developers had an erection and once you know this you simply cannot look at it in any light other than being an inherently fetishistic work :LIVE:

@PhenomX6 I saw that thread unfold, what they forgot to mention is how easy it is to turn a mentally weak, highly sensitive kid into an obedient emotionally invested acolyte and how certain organizations rile them up for different purposes.
