       @datenschutzratgeber please don't bash other privacy guides, everyone is allowed their own thoughts and publish them. And they are being honest, and not including any Cloudflare, or affiliate links.If you want to help them then their site is open source on codeberg.Heads up @privacyraccoon and @werwolf.

       @james @datenschutzratgeber @privacyraccoon hey, my criticism on PrivacyGuides is fair. I didn't lie at all. They're recommending software that violates their user privacy. And Cloudflare is recommended in the DNS section: https://www.privacyguides.org/dns/Of course there's still useful content there, but we, as privacy activists, should have high standards and not recommend privacy violators.

       @james @datenschutzratgeber @privacyraccoon and the point of The Privacy Raccoon is not to bash on PrivacyGuides. I don't have anything against them. The main section of our site is the Recommendations list. That page is there just for showing our reasons for creating yet another privacy site.

       @werwolf @james @privacyraccoon No, your criticism is not fair. Your whole argument is that @privacyguides recommend services X and Y, without even explaining why those are allegedly bad. In this regard, you even claim DuckDuckGo and Startpage to be “fake privacy initiatives”. Such phrasings imply that Privacy Guides must either be incompetent or part of the dark side and do absolutely not convey the meaning intended by you.

       @werwolf we appreciate the criticism, but you fail to take threat models into account. They are different for everyone. Cloudflare may not be private enough for you, but for quite a lot of people it will suffice.
