       I had to do a CPR class tonight in order to keep teaching karate. I had never done one before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I learned a lot, including the fact that you can do the Heimlich maneuver on yourself if need be. And that AEDs are a good thing to have. I never knew those even existed. I thought it was something only EMT did with the paddles.

       @umad80 That sounds very interesting… I took a CPR and First Aid class several years ago when my daughter was born.Learned a lot.Didn’t know you can do the Heimlich maneuver on yourself…

       @BirdDog @saramangas Hah. A lot of it, my anxiety gets in the way and I think "I can't do this." So if I'm *forced* I'm a little bit better about things. So I'm glad I had to do it. It's not really hard, and as you said, good skills to have.

       @VodooRanger Thank you, and I agree! You never know when an emergency might happen at the dojo, so it's good to know.And yes! I forgot about mentioning the chair too.
