@furgar I was in an adjacent county at that time. Here's a little known fact about that standoff:Ruby Ridge, ID almost had the entire town greet the ATF with the biggest weapons they could muster. They were less than 12 hours from the entire town slaughtering ATF agents wholesale and sparking a civil war during Bush Sr. The only thing that stopped it was Bo Gritz stepping in to negotiate Weaver's surrender.

@RexRedbone @furgar The claim there is that the police or whomever was directly engaging the car shot Fulcrim.The FBI Hostage “Rescue” Team claimed they weren’t there I think, and definitely that they didn’t shoot, but it later came out, maybe from forensics on the site (unlike at Ruby Ridge they didn’t rearrange spent shell casings or here remove them) that they also shot at him but missed.
