@dem32 It's silly, like go on reddit and they hate Ubuntu by default it's weird. Same on fedi. Like, it's just a Linux distro, it's all GNU coreutils + Linux kernel + scripts and symlinks. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME, JUST DIFFERENT RECIPES LIKE CHICKEN ALFREDO OR SOMEHTING!!!

@nerdtronics @dem32 I've never had an issue with their minimal builds, and still use them on a few devices where I don't need a GUI, but there's something I don't like about their desktop builds. I can't put my finger on it. Mate runs good on a Pi4 though. I tend to use arch for my x64 desktop builds. I prefer plasma.

@Humpleupagus @dem32 @nerdtronics Lubuntu works out the kinks of the desktop in my opinion. That's why I always shill Lubuntu. Plus I've been into lxqt, so I just tweak it to my liking. I will probably continue to use Lubuntu lxqt on the desktop until the end of the year then I'm switching to FreeBSD awesome window manager.https://lubuntu.me/

@nerdtronics I have reasons for my hate. Snaps. Snaps auto update just like windows do and that cost me money. Internet is not cheap here. Then default theme. Gnome is a beautiful desktop environment. It's gorgeous but ubuntu makes it fucking ugly with it's purple and brownish orangy theme.
