@mattock My favorite part about it is how cheap the ammo is. Whats a Mk.IV?

@TREL @mattock rugar mk IV, it's a 22lr pistol that's pretty fun to plink with. Bunch of varieties of them too for whatever your need is

@TREL They're a lot of fun to shoot. We were using one the other day with a long barrel and red dot on ringer plates at 100 yds.A rifle is arguably more practical but 22 pistols are incredibly fun, especially for first time shooters and women

@TREL @mattock ones by me go for about 599 for the lite tactical version. So I'm guessing a hunter or target version is probably a bit lower maybe 450

@TREL @mattock 22lr is the chaddest of all calibers, gets more bangs than all the others

@mattock @TREL I'm leaning towards a 22/45 for a more common grip angle. One great thing about the mark 4 is the upper/lower system which will be familiar to the ar crowd

@Ben_Droned @TREL the 22/45 grip angle is really nice if you like the 1911 (which is super comfy). I've used a glock so much I'm used to a steeper angle. also I want a full metal frame and the 22/45 only comes with polymer lowers.the takedown system on the mk IV is fantastic. push one button and the top just comes right off

@Ben_Droned @TREL 22lr will keep you at the range every weekend, versus every other round which you shoot once a year
