@IridisSparks https://Cryptpad.fr is amazing if you want something online and collaborative (it also has forms, and maybe more but I'm not sure) it's also encryptedLibreoffice is wonderful for an offline program you can use by yourself, very similar to Microsoft Word

@julove @IridisSparks There is also #Collabora @collabora @CollaboraOffice I also think #Nextcloud @nextcloud has an integratable office based on LibreOffice.I usually use cryptpad, but wish my institution managed their own (I would feel way more proud).

@IridisSparks I have personal experience with ONLYoffice and can say that I like it. It can handle both LibreOffice and Microsoft formats and works very smoothly with Nextcloud. It has the multi-user concurrent editing that we have all come to expect from modern document editing. ๐ The other option that I was considering was Collabora. When I was about to switch, ONLYoffice released an update that allowed editing on mobile devices (previously it was read-only on mobile).

@IridisSparks Zoho Docs is pretty good and their privacy policy is transparent. If you can afford it, itโs hard to beat a Synology running Syno Office.@jerry

@julove @IridisSparks cryptpad is good, but it performs bad when 20+ ppl attempt to write in the same doc, tried that in class last year :/
