Partner has been back from Japan for a little over a week now and holy crap do I feel betterUnfortunately I can’t say the same for them. They’ve been a little depressed due to the culture shock of coming back to a city that’s more noisy and nowhere near as clean as Japan is.Aside from the obvious (see clean and tranquil areas), what are some things you’d recommend for helping with that depression and shock?

@brandon personally, when I visit back home and from Japan get reverse culture I find that I want is room to vent. Someone to talk through my nitpicks with, or simply just some room to vent by myself.I find that it comes in phases:1. Complete weirded out2. Excitement3. Annoyance4. AcceptanceHonestly, it just takes time to adjust and accept that things are going to be different. Living abroad amazing and most people never get the chance. Try to enjoy it if you can!
