@GaryBussy @D00B Even assuming he didn't hit the concrete, he most likely died anyways.Water has a density, so that if hit with sufficient speeds, it will basically be like hitting concrete anyways.He fell for roughly 3 seconds, which would accelerate him to about 65,7mph upon impact (acceleration of earth's gravity is about 9,8 m/s^2, so falling for 3 seconds is 3 x 9,8 m/s^2, which then translates into the 65,7mph).According to linked source, upper-limits of survival when hitting water is 68.2mph:https://www.faa.gov/data_research/research/med_humanfacs/oamtechreports/1960s/media/AM65-12.pdfYou may then say, "Well, 65,7mph is below 68,2mph", but then that upper-limit is only achieved by hitting the water correct (head or feet first, in a dive).If we look closely at the video, he appears to land about on his ass, possible lower back. This would thus result in death, by the force sent through his body; breaking spine, rupturing organs, etc.On a final note, I think it appears that he isn't hitting the concrete. This is based on having observed many people falling from great heights before, and they usually bounce (and ragdoll) off the object they hit, if they hit something on their descend.

I've got a couple different threads going now besides this one, a bunch of ppl asking for a source, nobody's come through yeti personally think he missed the pylons. he sort of tucks and twists at the halfway point when he belatedly realizes how close it's gonna be, and ends up hitting the water flat because of it, but I don't think hard enough to kill himunless he drowned, my money's on him still being counted amongst the quick, but it's the minority opinion, would love to have a link to shut ppl up with

@Eris I'm pretty sure that's there before the jump, the water just splashes up and darkens it and makes it more noticeable. but it's hard to tell, i have this up on the farms and fb too besides this thread, and this is the thing everyone is stuck on in all three. i can't believe nobody has pulled a source yet tbh

That sudden red splash on the peer wasn't even in the right position, nor would it make sense for there to be a giant red splash. The death would be your brain getting slammed against the side of your skull, not explosive force.
