Wow!This camper was HUGE. The camper is based on a six wheel MAN truck. However the conversion has no windows, so, I'm thinking it will be a bit gloomy inside.I've photographed, and then posted about, some extreme rugged campers this year. I really wish I'd used an appropriate hashtag for the posts.#Highlands #Scotland

@fitheach That's pretty cool! Apparently it's a "Unicat". It's a pop top type, meaning the entire roof rises up, which then exposes the now hidden windows.I expect they cost as much as a superyacht :PHere's one with the top popped:

@yngmar Still doesn't look like much window area.Even with the top down you'd have to super careful on some of our roads, many have low bridges.Not only expensive to buy, probably expensive to run, too.

@fitheach - It would be possible to cut an opening in one of the side panels and install a window.I like the large rugged nature of the vehicle, but the lack of natural lighting would be a concern for me as well.

@fitheach A hatch or two in the roof would let in plenty of light. @yngmar It is not only about letting some light in, but, also being able to see out. My VW camper has windows all round. Great views no matter which way one parks.#MonsterTrucking
