@stux I'm sorry, I only know that from the command line ("-ss $initialtime -t 30" takes 30 sec of the input, starting at $initialtime)

@stux I had a note of this somewhere but it's years since I tried it.ffmpeg -ss <START_TIME> -i <INPUT> -vn -c copy -t 0:30:00 <outputfile>But please check it - I've just lifted it from my zim wiki, and that notes is dates 2018.
