Looking for a podcast 2.0 app for iOS that supports apple carplay. Podverse works on my phone but cannot control in CarPlay.

@theohiobloke Looks like it's on the to-do list:https://github.com/podverse/podverse-rn/issues/1106

@theohiobloke yea I use Podverse it’s the best app I’ve found so far. Seems to work fine with Apple CarPlay for me but maybe isn’t responsive to screen commands now that I think about it

@Sam33 @theohiobloke @adam I just tried Hypercatcher and it shits itself. Shows up as an app in CarPlay, opens, shows a list of shows for NA, but select a show and it crashes. I use OverCast. Presumably NOT podcasting 2.0, and it works just fine with full app control from the touch screen. IMO, ALL the podcasting 2.0 apps I've ried are crap. They might be good for the podcaster, but they are complete shit for the end user. MIght as well be pissing in the wind.

@Sam33 @theohiobloke @adam There is only two things that are important to me in a podcasting app. 1. Index the shows so they are easy to find with intuitive navigation. 2. Allow the user to tune into a live show, AND, AND, AND pause the show allowing it to buffer the live content so you can restart without missing anything. Yes you'll be time shifted, but at least I would be able to listen live. As it stand now, Igave up on the live show because I miss too much with interruptions at work

@Sam33 @theohiobloke @adam That being saiid, do any of these devs vet what they are doing with actual users, or even beta test? Here's an example. Heck, I was going to report the bugs, but they can't even get the web site formatting right. Same problem. Text over text. Yikes. 🤦🏽♂️. And, yes, one of my primary real-life work responsibilities is to shit all over the apps that the devs create. I AM THE ANGEL OF DEATH, unfortunately; but it pays the bills.
