@solidsanek @fristi Plus another thing – as long as most people were paying for the cable or things like these, streamings could be so cheap, they were the smaller percentage of the market, developing technology etc. plus the cable was paying the bills. But when streaming became the main content source for normies, it must've become more expensive.

I'm already paying decent money for a subscription, the least they could do is just omit the ads. Especially since these days there are multiple providers with content all spread between them. It's very anti-consumer.

Or, when hames added first "small datadisk" called DLC. Or, When DLC's became lootboxes.It is a slow slide down in quality. I'm not particularly against subscription models, only when such a model is misused to tack in extra costs for bullshit that can be totally left out of the equation, or when it's basically abused to re-sell the same thing to you over a period of time. It's as you say with DLC and lootboxes. It's bullshit. That shit doesn't need to be subscription based.Subscriptions should be for continued use of services, like electricity, water, gas, telephone, internet, hosting services, things that cost money to run and maintain. And it should be the service and convenience that you pay for, not a product, either physical or digital.

And you have a nice metrics of quality – if the company does embedded DLC, lootboxes etc. – their product is probably not worth the time :P
