I can't manage to get multiple RTL-SDR working on a hub.I'm on third usb hub to try, always have issues.Even powered ones.Tried from internal usb of the server, pci-e usb3 card. always have errors.either the librtlsdr is really fucked-up, or they are just that bad...

@dashie rtlsdr *is* fucked, that much is known. i had weird i2c errors and there was a patch for it that worked but was not merged for top quality reasons like "your hardware is probably bad it works on mine"

@dashie@pleroma.otter.sh my determination is they are Just THat Bad. i'm having the same problem. but it works on this one totally no-name USB-C "dock" and only if i use one specific USB cord.i think it's a power issue. i think something about how many components they've cut has made it sensitive to "bad" power.

@dashie@pleroma.otter.sh nah as in how "clean" that power is. i just don't know what "clean" means since i don't have the tools to see what's coming out of the end of a setup that works :(

@dashie my version has some patches added from steve-m, namely i2c retries. i couldnt get the official rtlsdrblog dongle to work at all without these (or rather, it furst worked, then i dropped it on the floor and it stopped, lol). retries helped
