How many of you leave your cell phone / mobile devices at home when you go out? Work and long trips are exceptions.I'm curious how different generations handle this.

@LibreLife@social.linux.pizza outside of work, i leave it at home or on the vehicle as much as possible. the Gen-X'ers are on to something with keeping stand-alone GPS units around, btw. it's still very hard to get good & current paper maps :( add a MP3 player to the kit and that's all i need on extended journeys.if i'm not on the job, then i guarantee you i'm around the people i want to talk to. including nobody. even in emergencies. on the road folks will call help in for you without stopping to ask if you need help -- people look out for each other!
