@tek ah, QB45, a fantastic language. Knowing that got me summer work developing a GUI for a source revision system (TLIB) using VBDOS. BBC BASIC & QB were outstanding character BASICs. Spent far too many years on VB5 and VB6 programming, but it paid the bills.

@ingram It wasn’t my first BASIC (VIC 20, T/S 1000, C64, Amiga before that), but it was the only one I used to write programs for other people to use.

@tek I started on TRS80, then Sega, C64, BBC, GWbasic, and then QB. QB & VB were the ones where other people used my programs and I got $ in return
