@djsumdog compatibility, standardization, knowledge that things will play nice and work. void linux isn't directly compatible or parallel with RHEL, whereas alma linux or rocky linux are direct drop-in replacements for centOS which itself was/is a downstream debranded 1:1 binary of RHEL

@knhy ah gotcha. I've heard good things about Rocky after the whole CentOS thing happened, but I haven't touched anything in the RHEL space in a while.
