This is so fucked.I often voted for fictional characters.Didn't vote for trump in 2016.Held my nose and voted for him in 2020.The democrats have gone off the rails.My former friends in philly were complete zombies, that zombieness is why we left philly in 2020I'm no conservative.This is so fucked.It's been years of these people being deranged pigeons shitting all over everything and knocking pieces everywhere.

@Pantangelini Trump supporters are no strangers to his faults. They booed him over the jabs. At first I thought he was no different than the Clintons; another fake McCain/Obama BS fight. But over time, I do think Trump was less corrurpt and cared more. The derangement syndrome was fucked up. I personally think he was the best president in my lifetime (The bar is low, and I'm to young to remember Regan) .. but this .... we're on our way to war. That's insane. But there's no turning back.

@posrev @Pantangelini My father survived a civil war too. It changed him irrevocably. My family grew up in the shadow of that. I do not want to see that happen to America. But we're here. Half the people do not know what time it is. That clock is ticking closer to an end no one can fathom, and God only knows how it will end. ...and to be fair, this is not American. Whatever happens in the following few months, it will spread to our globally connected world.

@posrev @Pantangelini I don't think that's the catalyst. I also do think many of the US courts have been strong, with recent anti-forced-jab decisions being very positive/relevant. I do think America has stood a lot better than most of the world in the light of this absolutely insane mass-hysteria and moral panic we're in. But man, I'm afraid to say the truth around old high school friends.But... I do think that no one will believe the results of whatever happens in 2024. We're kinda fucked.

@battlepenguin @Pantangelini 100% BP. I didn't cast a presidential vote in 2016, because I assumed Trump would be a male version of Hillary. His history was horrible.I agree that after just a few months we began to see what we could expect from him. He wasn't perfect, but I must also concur with you - he is the best president in my lifetime, including Reagan.I turn 49 in a few months, and I used to passionately argue for using the system to fix the system, but it's totally broken. And I'm sick of the bullshit from the Left. Sick of it.30 years of being called every dirty name in the book. @battlepenguin @posrev @Pantangelini Yeah, the results of USA elections have always been contested. But it seems to be getting worse every time. All states have to make their election process very simple and transparent to make this better. They won’t because that would give third parties too much of a chance among other self-serving reasons.
