@bitwarden PeerTube, however, I don't use it. Probably best to use them all and advertise PeerTube in the video. Maybe then it will get the attention and content it deserves, then more users might come.

@bitwarden Actually, best would be a big tech platform like YouTube with all content synced/mirrored on Peertube + LBRY/Odysee. Have links to these 2 alternative platforms on your YT biopage, feature exclusive content on them and in every video ask YouTube viewers to follow you on Peertube, LBRY, Mastodon, etc. That way more people who are already into open source and privacy will discover these better alternatives.

@bitwarden So long it has an RSS feed, anything would roll well for me. I agree with some other suggestions that self-hosting seems worth considering. Eg directly on your blog, with a relevant tag or category for ease of listing and discovery, the video player can point to locally served files perhaps. And to the extent engagement is desired, the blog presumably has that already.

@bitwarden I think your best bet is mirrored from YouTube to at least one other libre video hosting site (I like https://tilvids.com/ PeerTube instance)Prioritize the libre site in blog posts, toots, etc. but keep YouTube channel around for most “normal” people that discover it there
