       @neglesaks I don't know, Mastodon itself feels a lot like Twitter, at least in the Federated timeline.I think the main difference is that Twitter's main group of people is made of trash, whereas LinkedIn is trash itself. I mean, most people only use it when looking for a job and for professionnal connections when others look up your profile for poaching you.

       @foxmccloud45 Certainly resembling each other, though Mastodon has plenty of technical advatages over Twitter, plus I find the atmosphere here to be far nice than "The Birdsite". And yeah, I agree that LinkedIn is mostly a FaceBook+CV+Suit+Tie - people behave nicer there because it does after all reflect on prospective employers if they start spazzing out, but group dynamics being what they are... :blobrollingeyes:

       @neglesaks To be honest I don't use Twitter enough to determine its usability, I hoped on the Fediverse because I find it to essentially be the Usenetization of the Web (decentralization).I also don't have Facebook at all so… All I know from Facebook today is that it's populated by older people essentially, and Minion memes.
