       If you’re ever coding an email delivery service for receipts, don’t fucking do this.Attach the goddamn receipt as a PDF!

       @LovesTha it’s not the particular file format. That is my problem, it’s the fact that I have to visit some webpage to access my receipt, on a server that probably won’t be maintained as long as people might keep their receipts

       @brandon file format is a minor thing.That it trains people into clicking links in emails is pretty bad too.

       @brandon this requires you to trust your email provider/host with potentially sensitive data (although you probably more issues than just receipts received via email if you don't).I would definitely agree with this if email was generally more secure and private than it is.
